GULF OF GUINEA CONSERVATION GROUP

GULF OF GUINEA ISLANDS' BIODIVERSITY NETWORK

This page is part of an on-going project to produce vector maps of the Gulf of Guinea islands that can be used for GIS work.

Currently the maps are being posted in Autodesk dwf format for viewing with an Internet browser. To view the files you will require the Autodesk Express Viewer available for free from http://www.autodesk.com. As a browser plug-in this program only works with Internet Explorer 5+. As a standalone program download the map and then open in the viewer.

Files in shp format, derived from the original dwg files, are also available for download.

Coordinate conversions were completed with tools kindly provided by Kevin Crozier. These maps can be freely used under the terms of the Creative Commons License. Follow the link at the bottom of the page.
